If you haven't gotten your hands on these books yet, it's the perfect summer, beach read. Yes, they're a little raunchy and the writing is pretty terrible but the story will keep you hooked! The protagonist, Anastasia Steele, can grate on your nerves pretty heavily but it's still awesome and I couldn't stop!

New York has been a total inferno this past week, making me wish for sleigh rides in the snow! I'm just not a fan of humidity. Thank the effing lord I had the good sense to Japanese straighten my hair a couple weeks ago. Otherwise you wouldn't want to see this afro! Even though I know it will cool down a bit before we hit the real hot patch this summer, I thought I'd share some of my favorite products that keep me looking (somewhat) fabulous even when the weather is not cooperating!

When I walk my butt to work in the AM I simply cannot cool down without a good cool wipe. I'm obsessed with Burt's Bees Facial Cleansing Wipes. They have minimal chemicals but leave my punam refreshed and ready to face the day!

Blotting sheets are always a good idea if you're feeling a little shiny. I love the Boscia brand sheets. They take you from oil spill to refined in 10 seconds flat!

When it's 2000% humidity and 99 degrees it's also a good idea to bring along some extra deods or a small travel perfume to make sure you're fresh. I'm a big believer in non-aluminum deodorants so it really pays to drag it along so I'm "SURE." Organic deodorants aren't exactly as effective when made without all the nasty chemicals but to me they're worth it. I love Nature's Gate Lavender Aloe deodorant. I swear, it really works, it just doesn't hurt to reapply, even when using anti-perspirant for that extra boost of confidence.
